Whether you’re new to our school or a longtime SMGMA eagle, we want to provide the resources you need to achieve success.
This is a central hub for students and families to easily access information to navigate the school and school day, including enrollment, student handbooks, schedules, extracurricular activities, and more!
Enrollment
Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Academy serves students from Pre-K through 5th grade.
Enrollment for students who are new to the district must be completed in person by a parent or legal guardian.
Daily Schedule
At SMGMA, the school day begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. on regular school days.
Students must attend for at least 3.5 hours to be counted present for the day.
After School Care
YMCA is Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Academy's only on-site after-care provider, but several other organizations offer pickup and transportation to off-site programs.
Student Supports
The entire staff of Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Academy is committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, secure, and happy so they can make the most of their learning and reach their full potential.
Library / Media Center
The library provides a focal point for learning and discovery. Teachers also support literacy by maintaining classroom collections of age-appropriate books that inspire students to read for enjoyment.
